Anna always had a passion on helping people and knew that she wanted to do that professionally from young age. She decided to follow through graduating as a Physiotherapist from University of city of Sao Paulo in Brazil in 2009. For these 4 years in University, Anna studied and fell in love on understanding how the body mechanics work and how different activities can cause pain and how to treat the body to better daily activities, work and sports practices. In order to fulfill her client’s goals, Anna added to her practice Pilates, graduating in 2010 from STTOT Pilates.
Taking live adventure and personal goals, Anna immigrated to Canada in 2013 and kept seeking ways to help people. Worked in childcare and as an Educational Assistant at Halton Catholic School board until 2022 when she decided to focus more on her first passion and dove deep into Massage Therapy where she graduated from Oxford College in 2023 where she had 500 hours of hands-on supervised clinic and also had a chance to participate in massage events in the Burlington community.
Anna added to her knowledge all the massage techniques and successfully applied during the course of her studies. Anna has an adaptable pressure and is focused on helping her clients to achieve their goals actively by educating clients about stretches, exercises and posture. During massage therapy treatment the clients can expect a range of Swedish Techniques, myofascial technique, low-grade joint mobilizations, trigger point technique, stretch techniques and manual lymphatic drainage used as indicated necessary. Anna has a client focus approach where she thinks an open communication about client’s expectations and needs is a key for a great massage experience and treatment.
On her personal life, Anna adores planning fun activities with her 2 kids. Loves spending time with her family and enjoying nature walks. She brings a bit of nature home with her little plant collection and still finds time to keep updating her studies.
